GENERAL PRACTITIONER REGISTRAR

I’m from Sri Lanka and moved to Perth in 2020 with my husband who is also a medical doctor. Since relocating, I have had the opportunity to work across several major hospitals in WA, including Royal Perth Hospital, Bentley Hospital, Peel Health Campus, and Hollywood Private Hospital, where I developed a strong interest in emergency medicine. These experiences have equipped me with a broad range of clinical skills and a deep understanding of patient-centered care, enabling me to build meaningful relationships with patients throughout my career. I hold a Master’s degree in Public Health from Edith Cowan University at Joondalup Health Campus, WA, which has further enhanced my approach to holistic and preventative care. My professional interests span across general medicine and surgery, preventative medicine, geriatric care, paediatrics, and dermatology. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and travelling whenever the opportunity arises.
