The Health Hub is pleased to update you - that following todays Telehealth medicare expansion - we are now able to BULK BILL EVERYONE with a valid medicare card for Telehealth and Telephone consultations from tomorrow (Monday 30th March 2020)

This means that you no longer need to meet eligibility criteria for a bulk bill Telehealth (video) or Telephone consultation with your GP.

This will help slow the spread and keep people safe.

To book a Telehealth or Telephone consultation please visit our website and click Book Appointment.  You then go to our services and click on phone consult or Telehealth. A phone consultation will take place without a video link. A Telehealth consultation is undertaken through the AMS Connect App where you will be able to see your Doctor through a live, secure, reliable video link.

Telehealth medicare items have expanded and now include routine care, antenatal and postnatal care, GP Mental Health Care Plans, Chronic Disease Management Plans (care plans) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Assessments. These can all be booked through our website now.

The Health Hub will continue to provide face to face consultations where appropriate. You will continue to be screened when making an appointment and on entry to The Health Hub. 

The Health Hub team continues to adapt to the ever changing environment in order to keep you safe whilst providing the services that you continue to need.
